Before you head to the airport
- Check in as soon as the window opens. Seat maps change when aircraft are swapped; an early check-in is the simplest way to hold the seat you chose.
- Confirm the baggage allowance for your fare, not the cabin. Business class allowances differ between carriers and between fare types on the same carrier.
- Carry a backup boarding pass. Save the PDF as well as the wallet pass — phone batteries and airport Wi-Fi both fail.
